Inquaro Optimizing Quality Management in Infectious Disease Inquaro - "Infectiological Qualitiy Management Roche" - has at its core an electronic data aquisition and analysis program, developed by Datagen Ltd, designed to optimize departmental management of infectious disease. In an initial observation phase, the program retrospectively analyzes current diagnostic and therapeutic behavior in a relevant infectious disease typically encountered in the department. In the light of this analysis it then selects, and prospectively tracks, a quality-enhancing intervention based on infectiological guidelines. If the intervention is successful, the gain for the department can be measured as the difference between the two phases.
